Design of Eros is a personal exploration of how you experience attraction, bonding, sexuality, caring, and intimacy. Through a guided reading and your own lived experience, we make your unique landscape of Eros visible. The journey results in the creation of a personalized Attraction Map - a visual artifact that helps you to see the patterns of Eros in your life, recognize what moves you, and return to your own way of making decisions.

In a Design of Eros Reading, you will:

  • Recognize the difference between attraction and a decision - you may notice a strong pull without deciding what it means.

  • Unpack what closeness means to you - you are uniquely designed for touch, conversation, trust, desire, and support.

  • Understand how you move between connection and space - track patterns of approach, hesitation, openness, and withdrawal.

  • Clarify the difference between caring, sexual desire, and supportive bonds - allow each to have its own place, and allow for overlap, or even contradiction.

  • Find language for experiences that have been hard to explain - demystify and name the experiences you have been living your entire life.

What is Eros?

Eros is the energy that moves you - toward connection, toward an experience, or away. Eros includes sexual desire and passion, but also dimensions of caring, support, intimacy and communication.

Eros can overlap and coexist. You may recognize more than one movement at once: wanting closeness and wanting space; feeling chemistry and needing time; enjoying physical intimacy while still longing for a conversation that truly inspires you.

Your landscape of Eros made visible. The Attraction Map allows you to clearly see and recognize the overlapping movements of Eros in your unique experience. When you can see yourself clearly, you are empowered to relate as yourself..

Attraction is Information. It is not Authority.

Your Attraction Map brings your landscape into view, with you - The Traveller - at its center.

The Vehicle represents your body’s experience, including physical intimacy. The Passenger represents your conscious experience: what you notice, express and make meaning of. Your bonding mechanism provides a way to explore your movements in connection. The Compass brings you back to your Strategy & Inner Authority - Human Design’s framework for approaching life and recognizing how you make decisions. Your personalized map is populated with forms that represent your unique patterns, alongside your own language. Your Attraction Map becomes something to revisit to strengthen your recognition and support clear decisions.

Explore the parts of your map that matter most to you. We start with your completed Attraction Map and your lived experience and spend more time on a recurring pattern, new experience, or something on your Map that you want to understand more deeply.

  • Detailed exploration of selected points of interest.

  • Revisit and deepen your recognition as the underlying patterns become more clear.

  • Understand how the energy of Eros coexists with your Inner Authority.
